Data without causality is just pattern-matching. My background in econometrics taught me to ask not only what happened, but why — and whether an intervention actually made a difference.
I have spent years studying and applying causal inference methods — DiD, SCM, ITS, IPW, MMM — across academic research and industry. At Swisscom I put this into practice daily, helping the business move beyond dashboards and toward decisions grounded in evidence. I genuinely believe causal thinking is the next frontier for data-driven organisations, and I want to be part of building that.
